What We Offer
Virtual Home Safety Assessments
Designed for ease - a comprehensive evaluation of how you move in your home to help you remain independent for as long as possible.
30 minute initial assessment either virtually or by phone.
60 minute video call supported by a trusted family member or friend who can move the cell phone camera through your home safely and effectively throughout the assessment. We will discuss your concerns in real time.
A summary report will be emailed to you with clear recommendations so you have this for future reference.
As a Registered Occupational Therapist, Sandra takes a non-judgmental approach to assessing your home and daily activities (ADLs), identifying strengths, risks, and barriers to independence. Together, you'll explore practical solutions to help prevent falls and support safe, independent living—while preserving your home’s aesthetics.
What is included:
Goal Identification: During the initial assessment, we discuss your personal goals and any immediate safety concerns
Environmental Review: A detailed virtual walk-through to identify falls risks and suggest practical modifications, such as adding grab bars or handrails
Activity Analysis: An assessment of how you navigate your daily routines to improve or maintain your independence.
Professional Liaison: Recommendations for home adaptations and medical equipment providers are available as needed
*Assessments can be conducted in-person for clients located on the North Shore, as needed, for an additional fee.
